Delete your Owalter account

This page explains how users of Owalter (OW Therapy) can request deletion of their account and associated data. You can delete your account yourself in the app, or contact us by email.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the Owalter app and sign in.
- Go to Profile (or your account menu).
- Open Settings.
- Tap Delete your Account.
- A confirmation sheet appears with the title “Delete Account?” and the message: “Are you sure you want to delete your account? This action cannot be undone.”
- Confirm by tapping “Yes, Delete my account”.
If you cancel the sheet, your account stays active.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot use the in-app flow, email orlando@orlandowalters.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete your Owalter account. Include your full name and the email you used to register. We aim to process requests within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove or de-identify data associated with your account, including:
- Account profile details (name, email, phone, and related profile fields)
- App account access and authentication credentials for that account
- In-app profile content tied to the account (where stored by Owalter)
What may be retained
We may retain limited information when required by law, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, or accounting, for example:
- Transaction / payment records processed via Stripe (as required for financial and legal compliance)
- Records needed to investigate abuse, chargebacks, or legal claims
- Anonymized or aggregated analytics that no longer identify you
Retained records are kept only as long as needed for those purposes (typically up to 90 days for operational cleanup, and longer only where legally required), then deleted or further anonymized.
